FBlog Guidelines

We take a lot of pride in the FBlog, and try hard to keep the quality high and the content relevant, in both what our employees author as well as the feedback and comments we receive from you. Our authors and administrators have agreed to follow the best practices detailed below, which govern this blog.

We will:

  • tell the truth, and acknowledge and correct any mistakes promptly
  • not delete posts and will use notations to show any changes within a post
  • not delete comments unless they are spam, vulgar or off-topic
  • strive to maintain relevant, high-quality content
  • protect our confidential relationships and information
  • credit source and reference material
  • disagree respectfully and encourage dialog and debate

Additionally, we ask those who wish to comment on the FBlog to do so in a manner that supports its professional tone.

We ask that commenters please:

  • stay on topic
  • disagree with other opinions respectfully
  • avoid from using obscenities or offensive language

We have an approval process for all posts and comments. We will strive to approve posts quickly so as not to interrupt the flow of dialog. In order to keep conversations and critique appropriately on topic and to add value, we will delete comments that are double-posts, spam, offensive or off topic. Please note that in most cases this will include obscenities. Final judgment as to the appropriateness of any post or comment is up to our editors.
